FAQs
What size dumpster do I need for my project?
The right dumpster size depends on the type of project and the amount of debris you expect to generate.
- Small projects would fit our 7-yard dumpster with 1 ton allowance.
- Recyclable materials only such as concrete, brick, rock, dirt, and landscaping debris would fit our 7-yard dumpster flat rate with no weight restrictions.
- Medium projects like cleanouts or small renovations often require a 15-yard dumpster.
- For larger projects such as home remodels or major cleanups, a 20-yard dumpster or 40-yard dumpster is usually the best choice.
What happens if I choose the wrong dumpster size?
If your dumpster is too small, we will arrange a dumpster exchange so you can continue your project without delays. If you’re unsure which size to choose, we can help you select the best container size based on your project type, debris, and available space in your driveway.
What items are not allowed in the dumpster?
While our dumpsters can accommodate a wide range of materials, there are certain items that are prohibited, including hazardous waste, chemicals, flammable materials, and compression tanks. We can provide you with a comprehensive list of prohibited items to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Do I need to be present for delivery and pickup?
While it’s not required for you to be present for delivery and pick up, we recommend being available to ensure that the dumpster is placed in the desired location and that any specific instructions are followed. If you’re unable to be present, we can coordinate with you to ensure a smooth delivery and pick up process.
